The Amazon
The Amazon rainforest, the earth's largest remaining tropical wild area, is disappearing faster. Scientists no longer believe that the Amazon acts as the planet's lungs, but apart of scientific reasonsis home of 17 million people who lives in isolated cities and indigenous communities. Downstream the Rio Amazonas and the Rio Negro the boats are used as cargo to transport goods and food to cities and communities along the rivers, and often subject to unforseen happening and long delays.The native people living in the wild are often waiting for the boats to catch some goods thrown by tourists. less than 100 people can for the communities, but there are catholic churches even in the most remote areas. The raining season has strong impact on the life conditions of the inhabitants, and it changes also the landscape which has some unique feature.
